Clean your entire home in just a few hours!
Take it from the top! Typically only those items that run horizontal get dusty; focus there. Work your way from the top to the bottom so that all the dust particles hit the floor.
Left, left, left, right, left... start to your left and work around the room to your right. You won’t miss anything!
Clutter? No worries! Place all clutter in a basket – put it in the corner or closet. Sort later! Clutter will bog you down and before you know it hours have gone by and the house is not clean!
Get in the Zone! Zone cleaning allows you to focus on one task at a time. Load the dish washer, run a sink of warm soapy water and wipe down all cabinets and appliances. Clean all bathrooms by spraying showers, tub, counter tops and allow to sit and soak while you clean all commodes. Then go back and wipe down the counter tops, rinse the showers and tub. Clean all mirrors while you have the rag and cleaner out. Sweep all floors and mop.
Decluttering and zone cleaning allows for EFFICIENCY! After all, you want to clean your entire home in 2 – 3 hours, not 8. Move on to the bedrooms, fluff the pillows, make the beds (remove clutter for later) and lastly… vacuum! Vacuuming should always be last. Hit the high traffic areas and save the other areas for later.
Remember, if it’s not dirty, don’t clean it!
